Winter Blog Series, Part 4: Home for the Holidays

PURE Property Management of North Carolina - Wednesday, December 7, 2016

Welcome back to Park Avenue Properties’ Winter Series! Now that we have made it to December, the temperatures are way down and you can’t go anywhere without hearing holiday tunes. Everyone seems to have a spring in their step as we approach the season of giving!

In our last post, we talked home prep for winter travel. But what if you are planning on being in your home for the holidays? You know we’ve got you covered. We’re wrapping up the Winter Series with some holiday cheer!

The holidays are heating up over on our Pinterest boards. We’ve curated some awesome ideas to get you ready to jingle all the way this holiday season, no matter what holidays you love to celebrate!

Holiday decorating holds some particular challenges for renters. As a renter, you may not have a very large collection of holiday decor. And even if you do have lots of holiday trinkets, you may not want to pull them out at your rental. Or you may not have the space for an elaborate arrangement.

If you can relate, check out our “A Rental Friendly Holiday” board! We found some very cool Christmas tree alternatives for just about every budget and DIYer skill level. Or maybe you’re looking for some pretty, rustic touches for your space? We’ve got tons of those too! We also found some unique Menorahs, sure to light up your Hanukkah or Kwanza! Or if you’re feeling really ambitious, you might want to try your hand at making your own Parol, or Filipino Christmas Star!

Are you ready to party? ‘Tis the season to celebrate! Our “Celebrate The Season!” board is full of festive ideas to get your holiday shindig underway! Looking for a formal table setting in your favorite shade of red, green or blue? We’re featuring some beautiful tablescapes for your formal, sit down meals. If you’re looking to plan a more casual event to celebrate with friends & family before the big day, we’ve found some great party ideas from a Pajamas and Pancakes party to a White Elephant party. New Year’s Eve is coming up and we haven’t forgotten. We’ve gathered some great ideas to ring in the new year with style. While you’re perusing the parties, check out some of the tasty recipes we’ve found to make your event, the event of the season!

We didn’t forget the kids! One of the best things about the holiday season is seeing the excitement of the little ones in your life. That sparkle in their eyes at the wonder of the holidays will only last so long; make their holidays magical! Create Santa’s footprints in your living room or make a gingerbread Menorah together. And don’t forget, New Year’s isn’t just for the grown ups! Have a New Year’s bash the kids will love! Find all these ideas and more over on our “Holiday Wonder For The Little Ones” board.
